Who We Are
Mark Nowotarski's career in film and television began in 1982 when he attended the well respected Specs Howard School of Broadcast Arts. Upon graduation, Mark became a founding member of CNN"s Detroit Bureau. Working alongside consulate professionals such as Robert Vito and Peter Arnett, Mark honed his storytelling skills on countless news stories and documentaries.
In 2002 Mark founded Independent News Service with the intent of telling the stories that weren't being told. An accomplished writer, cameraman, and editor, Mark has found stories that help shape who we are as a nation and what help us to get here.
Production continues, and today Mark is in various stages of productions on several new documentaries. Please keep an eye out for more information.
